Between shows, Darrin met up with another contestant, $32,000 winner Tom Pajak. Feeling frisky, Darrin decided to play a trick on one of his phone correspondents. With Pajak playing the part of Regis, Despain called his friend Brian with the question, "Who is the hottest chick from the office?" Even better, a couple of the choices were listening in on the speakerphone! Reege: "And incidentally, just between us, who is the hottest chick in the office??" |

Darrin: "Um, give me a confidence interval on there. Does that include 1?" Brian: "95 to 100 percent confidence on that." Darrin: "That sounds pretty good." Brian: "All right." Darrin: "Thank you." 7 is a lucky number for most people.
But not for Darrin. B. 12 was the answer. Astronauts always explore in pairs.
LOOGAROO LAMENTS: The two previous Lifelines he had used probably wouldn't have helped. Even though the two questions said Lifelines were burned on were on relatively easy questions, they only help if they point you towards the right answer. Something tells me that the majority of the audience or Darrin's correspondents wouldn't have known the answer to this one. |
