C. Ben Affleck - 2%D. Paul Newman - 93%

Adam: "Well that makes me look smart, doesn't it?"

For $2000:

OUTB. Love Canal

C. Three Mile IslandOUT

I think a light bulb went on - Adam recalls Three Mile Island being an accident, so it might not have been a long-term event.

On that logic, he'll go with B...

Which is his final answer.

His logic was right! $16,000!

For a guaranteed $32,000:
10. Which of the following actresses did not play Rizzo in the Broadway musical 'Grease'?

A. Courteney CoxB. Lucy Lawless
C. Rosie O'DonnellD. Brooke Shields

Adam is struggling again. He mulls over the choices one more time before he decides to use his final Lifeline and call his friend Roger. After the question and choices, we get this:

Roger: "OK, uh, Rosie O'Donnell played her... uh... Courteney Cox..."
    Adam: "12 seconds."
Roger: "Yeah, Courteney Cox... Uh, I have no idea about the other ones, though. I would go with uh, Brooke Shields, possibly, but I'm not sure. Sorry." (Burp Burp)

Not a ringing endorsement. Regis reminds Adam that $15,000 is lost upon in incorrect answer.

With that kind of money at stake, and no definitive answer, Adam is not going to try it.
Adam Fine resigns with $16,000.

Good thing he didn't go with his correspondent - the correct answer was A. Courteney Cox.

LOOGAROO LAMENTS: These were tough questions, tougher than I've seen handed to a few other contestants. It seems to me that the difficulty of the questions comes in peaks and valleys, and Adam unfortunately hit a peak. Still, it was nice to see him come back after an unsuccessful try in August and win a decent amount of money.

WINNINGS TO DATE: $762,000

Now on to the next contestant...
