SPLIT DECISION

OBJECTIVE: Two players try to solve a word puzzle that's been split into six sections.

FRONT GAME

Facing the contestants are six panels, each bearing a part of a phrase, name, or title. The phrase is split into six sections and rearranged on the board in random order. On either side of each panel is a light, and both lights around a panel must be lit for that panel to be revealed. (One light is used for both adjacent panels) After a panel is revealed, the player has the chance to solve the puzzle. If successful, the player wins the round and $200. Two rounds wins the match and the winner advances to the bonus round.

BONUS ROUND

The player now has 45 seconds to guess 6 5-letter words. For each word, the player is shown the first two letters in the word and read a clue for that word, and two letters from that word would be used in the next word. (i.e. The "PE" in "ELOPE" could be used to make "PEACH", and the "AC" in "PEACH" would subsequently be used in "ACTOR.") The player earns $100 for each word solved, and a bonus prize for getting all 6. A player cannot move on to the next word until he/she guesses the one he/she's on.

SO, WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT?

You mean, besides the fact the the front game is almost exactly like All-Star Blitz?
